will again work with the director of The Butler on a TV drama called Empire.
After the feature film Hustle & Flow (2006), Terrence Howard will once again delve into the world of hip-hop, embodying a musical star named Lucious Lyon.
The series will be penned by Danny Strong, who also took part in
The Butler
, according to Deadline.com.
Lee Daniels
will helm the series, which will focus on Lyon, a man determined to have his record label Empire Entertainment go public.
Terrence Howard, 44, will soon face
Arnold Schwarzenegger
and Sam Worthington in David Ayer’s action thriller Sabotage.
Film buffs recently saw him in Denis Villeneuve’s Prisoners.
