TV couple Aashka Goradia, Rohit Bakshi part ways after 10 years

Aashka Goradia of Naagin and Rohit Bakshi, popular for playing Lord Shiva in Siya Ke Ram, have split. The couple had been together for the past 10 years.

TV actors Aashka Goradia and Rohit Bakshi, who’ve been dating for the past 10 years, have decided to call it quits, reports The Times of India. Earlier this year there was news of another popular pair from the TV industry calling it quits -- Karishma Tanna and Upen Patel.

A couple of years back, there was trouble in their relationship but the duo made a concerted effort to patch things up and continue. However, despite the best of intentions, they discovered that things weren’t working out. And now, they have decided to split.

A source close to the couple told TOI, “Despite the turmoil, they stuck around and gave their relationship several chances. But with time, they realised it was best to part ways. Communication gaps and compatibility issues led to constant friction in the relationship. Both wanted different things from life. The good thing is that the split was an amicable one. They respect and care for each other and didn’t want their relationship to end on a sour note.”

Aashka has worked in a number of serials including Naagin and Kkusum and Rohit is currently playing the role of Lord Shiva in Siya Ke Ram.
