Vivek Dahiya, Divyanka Tripathi lash out on media for spreading rumours
Popular TV stars Divyanka Tripathi and Vivek Dahiya are angry at several media houses for publishing several false reports about the two.
You may think that actors Vivek Dahiya and Divyanka Tripathi, who got married in July this year, would still be busy in their honeymoon. Not really.
Since their high-profile wedding, the popular TV couple has been busy fighting a string of ‘reports’ about them on various websites. Vivek even shared a long note on Instagram on Monday, lashing out on media for what he calls “irresponsible journalism”.

“I’ve been advised time and again to stay calm and ignore these stupid fake tales but it’s about time that I vocalise my sentiments. We’re much more than a group of nepotism-driven, preferentially treated people,” he wrote with the post.
Divyanka also reposted this on her own page adding, “I respect those few news groups who refrain from the #CopyPaste culture, who believe in finding the truth and transmitting it to the readers. There’s something more important than viewership and numbers... Its #Humanity and #ProfessionalEthics.”
A few entertainment websites and media houses ran stories on Sunday that Divyanka was approached for a calendar shoot for a fashion label but she demanded a very high fee and that her husband also be made a part of the project. The fashion label, therefore, decided to look for someone else for the shoot.
These false allegations didn’t go down well with the couple who then decided to retaliate.
Divyanka and Vivek got married on July 8 this year amid great fanfare, making the celebrations a national affair. The two are seen together on popular TV show, Yeh Hain Mohobbatein.
