Anupam Kher has made his short film debut this Valentine’s Day. The veteran Bollywood actor stars in Kheer, a sweet love story of an elderly couple in love.

Directed by Surya Balakrishnan, the film was released by YouTube channel Terribly Tiny Talkies on Monday and also stars actor Natasha Rastogi.

The film begins with Anupam and Natasha fighting like a any couple who have been married for long would. He cribs about her bad singing and she hates how he doesn’t care about keeping the house tidy.

With the ring of the doorbell, we are introduced to two little kids who call Kher their ‘Nanoo’ but are surprised to see Natasha in his home. We soon realise that Anupam and Natasha are not married, but just two individuals in their twilight years looking for love.

The elder of the two kids, the granddaughter, finds it hard to see her Nanoo with someone other than her grandma. However, her grandpa figures out the way back into her heart: With kheer.

The film, which is just as sweet as its title, is almost seven minutes long and has got 1.5 lakh views in a day. Watch it here:
