Anxious that Lali would probably want to take revenge and hurt the ‘waaris’ (heir) of his family, he devises a plan and installs a balance (taarazu) in the haveli to keep a check on her weight and make certain that she takes care of her health.

Ratan was in splits when this particular sequence was being shot. The scene, which entailed a lot of high voltage drama and heavy duty emotions, while shooting had completely become a comedy circus with nobody willing to get serious.

A feather light Ratan who weighs below 40kgs found it very funny to weigh herself on a giant balance. Even though the scene required her to be grim and serious, she was in a flippant mood and would just not stop giggling.
