In a great 'back to the future' moment, the makers of Sherlock shared a picture of Benedict Cumberbatch and Martin Freeman dressed in the classic style from Sir Arthur Conan Doyle's era. Though the iconic deer-stalker cap was replaced by a top hat.

In a great 'back to the future' moment, the makers of Sherlock shared a special picture of Benedict Cumberbatch and Martin Freeman dressed in the classic Sherlock Holmes style from Sir Arthur Conan Doyle's era. Though the iconic deer-stalker hat was replaced by a top hat.

The image is a teaser for the upcoming season of the hit British series which will air sometime early next year. The season, like the three more before it, will have 3 episodes and also a special one which might air this Christmas.

Sherlock's Facebook page also shared a picture of the new draft script by Mark Gatiss and Steven Moffat, dated 22 November, before following up with a promised photo of Sherlock and John Watson.
