Station officer Mithilesh Mishra said that the victim said that her parents had scolded her over something around a month back. In a fit of rage, she left her house in a village in Singrauli district of Madhya Pradesh and reached Robertsganj.

Mishra said that the girl revealed that she came across three women in Robertsganj. The trio coaxed her and took her to Chopan town, where they gave her to another woman. The woman tortured her and forced her to do household work.

According to the police, the girl said that after every two or three days, the three women used to visit the house where she was held hostage and took her to a hotel or a house in Robertsganj, where they forced her to consume some intoxicating substance and then forced her into prostitution.

The girl told the police that she wanted to flee, but she could not do so. On September 24, when the three women brought her to a hotel in Robertsganj, she managed to escape and reached Robertsganj railway station from where she dialed 100 with the help of a person.

The police reached the spot and also called members of the child helpline, who took the girl to the child reform home, where she is living at present.

Mishra said that the three women have been taken into custody and also sent to the women’s reform home. Also, the child helpline members conducted a probe in the matter and it was found that the three women forced the girl into flesh trade and tortured her.

He said a case was registered against the three women under relevant sections of the IPC following the complaint by the victim and on the basis of report by child helpline, on Wednesday.
