Covid update: Facebook’s misinformation; Delhi hotels to open; Hyderabad cases
From hotels and weekly bazaar re-opening in Delhi to misinformation spike on Facebook, here are the top updates on coronavirus pandemic. The Delhi State Disaster Management Authority on Wednesday gave nod to reopen hotels in Delhi. The agency also allowed the reopening of weekly markets on a trial basis. However, gymnasiums will continue to remain closed. An advocacy group Avaaz reported that misleading health content has peaked on Facebook in April 2020. Meanwhile, Hong Kong banned Air India flights till the end of August after several passengers, traveling from India, tested positive for Covid-19. Passengers in Hong Kong will be allowed after getting tested 72 hours prior to the journey and will have to take the post-flight Covid-19 test after arriving at the airport premises in Hong Kong. Also, at least 6 lakh people may have been infected by Covid-19 in Hyderabad, as per a study by scientists. It was estimated that around 6.6 percent of the population in Hyderabad may have been infected and are asymptomatic and won\'t need hospitalization. Watch the full video for more details,
