Covid vaccine: Supreme Court to review govt purchase, asks about free jab policy

As India's vaccination drive against Covid-19 lags due to unavailability of adequate doses, the Supreme Court asked the Central government to submit details about its procurement orders. The apex court has also asked the Centre and states to submit details of their free vaccination policies. The government claims that over 21.85 crore vaccinations have been done so far.
