Maharashtra became the latest state to back Centre’s claim of no deaths due to oxygen crisis. Ministers of Bihar, Chhattisgarh, Madhya Pradesh & Tamil Nadu have already made similar claims. Meanwhile, BJP's Sambit Patra said onus was on states & UTs to report on Covid fatalities. Countering attacks by opposition, Patra added that the data wasn't generated by the Centre.
