Watch: Hyderabad traffic cop offers his lunch box to needy kids, wins hearts

A traffic constable in Hyderabad has won the hearts of netizens with his recent video. In a viral video, Mahesh Kumar is seen offering his lunch box to kids on the streets. The incident was recorded by his colleague who later shared the clip with others. “I noticed the kids while I was on my night patrolling duty near Somajiguda. The kids were with their father who said that they were in search of food. I immediately offered my lunch box to those hungry children,” Kumar said. He added, “At that moment, those children needed food more than I did. Due to the lockdown, many poor people are not able to get food. I felt the pain of those two children as I too have a daughter. I appeal to people to come forward and help those who are in need.” The traffic cop has received appreciation from both the police department as well as public.
