Kirti Kulhari: I take acting too seriously to go on a set without any prep

Bollywood actor Kirti Kulhari speaks to HT City Entertainment Editor, Monika Rawal, about the success of her latest web series, Criminal Justice: Behind the Doors. In the courtroom drama, Kirti plays a victim of domestic abuse and marital rape. She admits she was "scared" initially that she has to live in this character for 50 days, but she took it up as a challenge. She had another big release in Four More Shots Please season 2 that came right after the lockdown was announced in March 2020. The actor opens up about how it was to play these extremely different characters. Looking up, she has two feature films - Girl On The Train and Shaadistan and two short films - Chaaru and Inside Out, releasing on 2021. She also talks about web platforms giving more choices to audiences, not getting bothered about being called an OTT actor, validation from viewers, awards and international recognition.
