Muslims in India protest shooting of film on Osama

Muslims in Chandigarh have resented the shooting of Zero Dark Thirty, the film based on Osama bin Laden by Oscar-winning director Kathryn Bigelow, saying the film-makers were portraying Pakistan on Indian soil. The film-makers, denied permission to film in Pakistan, converted parts of Chandigarh to look like the Pakistani city of Lahore. But the move to use India to portray Pakistan has been slammed by both right wing Hindu radicals as well as Muslims who fear it could raise unnecessary tensions.
