Switzerland also had to rely to a late strike to beat Serbia 2-1 as Xherdan Shaqiri scored in the 90th minute to secure a victory that moves the Swiss into contention in Group E. In the other match of the day, Nigeria registered their first win of the tournament as Ahmed Musa scored twice to beat Iceland.
