Imran calls Modi govt fascist as NIA seeks death penalty for Yasin Malik

A special NIA court will decide the quantum of sentence to be awarded to Kashmiri separatist Yasin Malik in connection to the 2017 J&K terror funding case today. NIA has demanded death penalty for the JKLF leader. Meanwhile, former Pakistan PM Imran Khan has cried foul over Yasin Malik's sentencing. Openly supporting Yasin Malik, Imran Khan in a tweet criticised the Indian government for its 'fascist tactics' against Yasin. Imran claimed that Yasin was being illegally convicted on fake terror charges. Before Imran Khan, Pakistan PM Shehbaz Sharif had also called out the Modi government and defended Yasin.
