‘Affront to state rights’: Kerala Finance Minister slams lower tax share

Kerala Finance Minister criticised a lower tax share for the state. Thomas Isaac claimed that compared to Rs 17,800 crore last year, the state was only allotted Rs 15,000 crore as tax devolution. He called it an 'affront' to state rights. He also commented on GST compensation to states, claiming that the Centre has said that compensation amount depends on funds collected under the related cess.
