After ASEAN, PM Modi attends East Asia summit, meets Vietnam PM in Bangkok

Prime Minister Narendra Modi participated in the East Asia Summit in Thailand's Bangkok. This was the fourteenth edition of the summit, and it was PM Modi's sixth time attending it. He outlined 'global challenges facing the world' and highlighted 'the need for working together to find common solutions', as per Raveesh Kumar, spokesperson for India's Ministry of External Affairs. After the summit, he had bilateral engagements. PM Modi met his Vietnamese counterpart Nguyen Xuan Phuc.
