After Trump’s ‘filthy India air’ remark, PM Modi highlights carbon emissions
Days after Donald Trump, President of the United States of America, criticised India for its air quality, Prime Minister Narendra Modi spoke on carbon emissions. While inaugurating the India Energy Forum, Modi said that India had among the lowest carbon emissions as compared to the rest of the industrialised world. He said that the country would continue to make efforts to fight climate change. Days earlier, during the final Presidential debate with Joe Biden, Trump had called India's air filthy, while also criticising China and Russia on the issue. Biden had slammed Trump, saying this isn't how 'friends' are referred to. Watch the full video for more.
