India successfully carries out third test for Pinaka guided missile

Amid tension with Pakistan following the Pulwama terror attack and the subsequent 'pre-emptive' air strikes by India in Pakistan's Balakot, the Defence Research & Development Organisation successfully test-fired the Pinaka missile. The Pinaka is a high-precision, guided missile system indigenously developed and made in India. The tests were carried out in Rajasthan's Pokhran ranges.
