Congress peddling falsehoods on Rafale deal pricing, says Arun Jaitley

Finance Minister Arun Jaitley has countered Congress and Rahul Gandhi's charges against the Narendra Modi government on Rafale deal. Arun Jaitley said that every charge that the Congress had levelled against the NDA on pricing of the fighter jets is “factually false” and that the claims are based on “peddled untruth”. Jaitley has argued that the basic aircraft price is actually 9% cheaper under NDA than the UPA taking into account the escalations and currency variations.
