I said it as a worried citizen: Naseeruddin Shah on Bulandshahr violence remark
Actor Naseeruddin Shah responded on him being called a traitor over his remarks that the death of a cow was given more importance than the killing of a policeman in some places. Shah said that his remark on Bulandshahr violence came as a concerned citizen.
Shah added that he is a worried citizen of India and has raised concerned about these issues in the past as well. “What I said earlier was as a worried Indian. What did I say this time that I am being termed as a traitor? I am expressing concerns about the country I love, the country that is my home. How is that a crime?,” said Shah after being trolled on social media over his remarks.
