JNU violence: Probe on track, says Delhi police; cops stand guard at varsity

Delhi police personnel continue to stand guard at Jawaharlal Nehru University following the violence of January 5, 2020. DCP, South West Delhi, Devender Arya, said that civil deployment inside the campus, and uniformed deployment outside, continues on the request of university administration. On January 5, a masked mob had run riot inside the university, attacking teachers, students, and public and private property. Arya said that the police's probe regarding the violence was 'on track'.
