Karnataka rains: Congress’ B Janardhana Poojary rescued by DKDA in Bantwal

Senior Congress leader and former Union minister B Janardhana Poojary was rescued from his house in Karnataka's Bantwal by DKDA. Heavy rainfall triggered flood-like situation in several parts of Karnataka. The fire department, NDRF, DKDA are engaged in evacuation and rescue operations across the state. Floods have affected several states in India including Kerala, Maharashtra and Karnataka.
