MEA advises not to host sports events amid coronavirus outbreak

In the wake of coronavirus outbreak, MEA advised to avoid hosting sports events. MEA Additional Secretary Dammu Ravi said, “I think it is for the organisers to decide whether to go ahead with it or not. Our advice would be to not do it at this time.” MEA also spoke on allowing essential travel which includes health reason, sickness in the family or wedding.
