My First Vote: ‘Solve basic problems, focus on education’ says first-time voter Nidhi

Nearly 18 million people between 18 and 23 are estimated to cast their ballot for the first time in the 2019 Lok Sabha polls. Hindustan Times' My First Vote campaign aims to reach out to young, first-time voters to understand what they want, and what issues matter most to them. A first-time voter Nidhi feels that the incoming government focus on providing basic facilities of food, shelter and clothing. Nidhi also feels that the government should bring equality in terms of education and safety.
