‘Need to be two steps ahead of terror’: Shah says as RS passes UAPA bill

Rajya Sabha has passed the amendments to the UAPA which will now give powers to the Central government to designate an individual as terrorist. The amendments were passed even as the opposition led by Congress said that the bill may be misused by the government. Home Minister Amit Shah launched a scathing attack on the Congress, accusing it of being soft on terror and also said that it made every effort to link a particular religion with terror.
