New Kerala Governor Arif Mohd Khan receives guard of honour

Kerala's new Governor Arif Mohammed Khan received guard of honour in Thiruvananthapuram. Khan was named the state's governor on September 1, replacing P. Sathasivam. Khan was among five new governors announced by the President. BJP leader from Tamil Nadu, Tamilisai Soundararajan was named the Governor of Telangana. Former Union Minister Bandaru Dattatreya was named the Governor of Himachal Pradesh. Himachal's incumbent Governor, Kalraj Mishra was transferred to Rajasthan, replacing Kalyan Singh. Former Uttarakhand CM Bhagat Singh Koshiyari was made the Governor of Maharashtra.
