On Rajiv Gandhi’s birth anniversary, Manmohan warns of ‘growing intolerance’

Former Prime Minister Manmohan Singh spoke on the occasion of late Rajiv Gandhi's birth anniversary. An event had been organised to mark the former Prime Minister's 75th birth anniversary. Manmohan Singh enumerated the contributions of Rajiv Gandhi as Prime Minister between the years 1984 and 1989. He concluded by warning that India has been witnessing growing intolerance and violence against certain groups in recent years.
