Union Budget 2018 has plans to go digital in schools

Finance minister Arun Jaitley unveiled a plan to move to digital boards from blackboards in schools. He also emphasized on giving training to teachers via recently launched digital portal 'Diksha'. Minister also announced to open chain of 'Eklavya' schools across tribal belts which are a scheme for model residential schools for Indian tribals.
