Ganesh Chaturthi is reaching new heights as Visakhapatnam saw a Ganesh idol measuring 78 foot, which was installed yesterday for the 10-day long festivities. With organisers competing against each other for putting the best pandal, Gajuwaka in Vishakhapatnam saw the erecting of 78-foot eco-friendly Ganesh idol. The 78-feet tall statue of Lord Ganesha was specially prepared by skilled artisans from Kolkata.
