Women attacked with acid in Yogi Adityanath’s state

A woman was attacked with acid in Uttar Pradesh. Her husband and father-in-law are allegedly behind the attack. A case has been registered against them. The father-in-law is held in Moradabad. The incident happened when the victim and her sister were returning from a police station. The accused allegedly threw a bottle of acid on the victim. After the victim and her sister went to the police station to register a case of dowry harassment. Father in law has been sent to a jail but the husband is still absconding.
