3 Chhattisgarh districts declared Maoist-prone

As Chhattisgarh continues to battle Naxalism, the Home Ministry has given the nod for the state government to classify three of its districts as Maoist- prone areas. The new districts that came under the category of Maoist- prone areas are Dhamtari, Mahasamund and Gariaband. Prime Minister Manmohan Singh has described Maoists as India's biggest internal security challenge.
