AIADMK minister killed in road accident

The Minister for Environment and Pollution Control and Minorities Welfare of Tamil Nadu, N. Mariam Pitchai was killed in a road accident in Perambalur district on Monday.He was travelling by car from Trichy to Chennai to take oath as member of the Tamil Nadu Legislative Assembly, when the accident occurred.According to locals, the car ferrying Pitchai was smashed after it collided with a speeding truck. The mangled remains of the vehicle and the bloodstains found inside the car testified to the powerful collision.
