Army launches recruitment drive for youth in naxal-hit Orissa

In a bid to prevent the tribal youth from getting lured by the Maoists, the Indian Army has launched a recruitment drive in the rebel-hit Orissa. The objective of this initiative is also to involve the tribal youth in constructive means of livelihood, as the Army believes that because of their physical strength and mental alertness, the tribal youth are an ideal choice for the armed forces. The boys have welcomed the move and are quite excited at the prospect of being provided with an opportunity like this.
