Bangladesh demands tougher action against Jamaat-e-Islami

Bangladesh's leading academician Anisuzzaman has called for tougher measures in confronting the violence that has been perpetrated by the country's largest Islamist party, the Jamaat-e-Islami, against the verdict given out to its party leaders over the war crimes committed during the country's independence struggle in 1971.
