Beni Prasad Verma now threatens to quit Congress

Union Steel Minister Beni Prasad Verma has now threatened to quit the ruling Congress party if he is restrained from criticising SP Chief Mulayam Singh Yadav. He felt 'humiliated' after his effigies were burnt by SP workers in Uttar Pradesh, where the party has formed its government. Reportedly, Beni Prasad had commented that the SP chief should 'first try to get the job of a sweeper at the residence of the Prime Minister if he was dreaming of becoming the PM.
