BJP, Team Anna slam Lokpal Bill draft

The report of the Standing Committee on the Lokpal Bill has finally been tabled in Parliament. The fears of Team Anna and the opposition have been borne out. The report has been slammed as a half way house between what the govt and the civil society had proposed. A toothless Lokpal could be the likely outcome making a final confrontation inevitable.
