BJP to meet, decide future course on Prez poll

The BJP core group will meet on Saturday to discuss the Presidential election and decide its future course of action. BJP Spokesperson, Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi told reporters that senior leaders of his party would soon take a decision on presidential nominee, as UPA government has formally announced finance minister Pranab Mukherjee as their candidate. Naqvi told reporters that Congress has initiated talks with BJP over Presidential candidature. The BJP -led NDA will meet in New Delhi on Sunday to finalize its candidate for the presidential elections.
