Chief of banned Maoist outfit, SPM, arrested in Gaya

Police arrested Chandan alias Ajai Ujjwal,who headed the banned Shastra Pratirodh Manch (SPM) along with his three other associates at Sherghati,a subdivision-level town in Gaya district of Bihar.Amit Lodha,Senior Superintendent of Police of Gaya disclosed this to the media persons on Thursday. He mentioned that the arrested Maoists had been involved in criminal activities in the past as well.The SSP also narrated about the criminal history of Chandan.
