Cong retains Chavan, Hooda as Chief Ministers

The Congress Party decided to retain Ashok Chavan and Bhupinder Singh Hooda as the chief ministers of Maharashtra and Haryana respectively, after the party's success in the recent assembly elections. Defence Minister A K Antony and Prithviraj Chauhan, senior functionaries of the party at New Delhi, confirmed the decision after Congress President Sonia Gandhi held several rounds of consultations with senior party leaders.
