CPI-M opposes Nuke Bill, says it curbs right to life and health

Reiterating its earlier stance on the Nuclear Liability Bill, the Communist Party of India (Marxist) (CPI-M) on Wednesday said it would continue to oppose it in the Parliament, as it compromises on the citizens' right to life and health. The Nuclear Liability Bill pertains to compensation in case of any accident involving civil nuclear plants.
