Deploy more cops for protection of women: SC to Delhi Police

The Supreme Court on Thursday directed the Delhi Police to withdraw cops from VIP security and deploy them for the security of women instead, in the wake of the increasing crimes rate against women recorded in the national capital. The apex court has also asked States to reduce the number of policemen deployed for VVIP security.
