Global oil prices beyond govt control: Jaipal Reddy

Justifying the latest hike in petrol prices union oil minister S Jaipal Reddy today said that global pressure had fuelled the price hike. Reddy added that the global oil prices were beyond government's control. There will be no rollback in the hike for now, since the government cannot find an instant solution for the issue, the minister said.
