India pays tribute to Rajiv Gandhi

People across India paid tribute to the former Prime Minister Rajiv Gandhi on his 17th death anniversary on May 21. A prayer meeting was held on his memorial, Vir Bhumi, on the occasion. Sonia Gandhi, wife of Rajiv Gandhi and president of India's federal ruling Congress party visited the memorial along with son Rahul Gandhi and daughter Priyanka Gandhi.
