India's leader of opposition turns 81

India's leader of the opposition and Prime Ministerial candidate of the main opposition Bharatiya Janata Party or BJP, Lal Krishna Advani celebrated his 81st birthday on Saturday. Advani, who was born on November 8, 1927 in Karachi, now in Pakistan, has held many important positions both in Bharatiya Janata Party and in the Indian government. Advani, who would be spending the day with his family, said that he was overwhelmed by the good wishes of the people.
