According to an Assocham study, India's top 15 Tier-II cities have cornered over 20 per cent of the white-collar jobs created in the last four months and this included cities like Chandigarh, Vadodara, Jaipur, Pune, Agra and Ahmedabad. The 'Trends of Job Openings' study conducted during August-November 2007 found that Chandigarh, though a second rung city, was ranked fifth among the top 10 employment providing cities.
