India welcomes Pakistan’s call to demilitarize Siachen

Minister of state for defence MM Pallam Raju today welcomed Pakistan army chief General Kayani's call for both countries to demilitarize the Siachen glacier on their international border. Speaking to reporters in Hyderabad, Raju said that maintaining the high-altitude battlefield was a massive economic strain on both the countries.
