Mumbai's video surveillance to be upgraded

Maharashtra chief minister Prithviraj Chavan said on Wednesday that the state government was in the process of putting an improved video surveillance structure in place post 13/7 Mumbai triple blasts. Chavan said, the initiative to install 5,000 close circuit television (CCTV) cameras proposed post November 2008 militant attack would be taken into full force along with re-establishing the contact with Scotland Yard in training Mumbai police officials.
