P Chidambaram pitches for bifurcation of Home Ministry

Home Minister P Chidambaram on Wednesday suggested bifurcation of Home Ministry and creating a separate Ministry to handle subjects not directly related to internal security. Chidambaram also said that India would have a National Counter Terrorism Centre to counter possible militant strikes, by the end of next year.
