Raja quits, PM to make statement in Parliament today

After adamantly refusing to resign, Communications and IT Minister A. Raja quit the cabinet late on Sunday over the 2G-spectrum controversy, ending an opposition-Congress standoff that had paralysed parliament. He said that despite giving his resignation he would not agree to the alleged charges.
